1. Agreement

These terms govern your use of Ashen Gate (the "game"), created and operated by Natura Digitalis (MB Natura Tubs). They apply to this game only. By downloading, installing or playing Ashen Gate, you agree to them. Because the game is distributed through Google Play, the Google Play Terms of Service apply as well.

2. Licence

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to play Ashen Gate for your own enjoyment. You may not copy, sell, rent, reverse-engineer or redistribute it except where the law expressly permits.

3. Free to play & advertising

Ashen Gate is free and has no in-app purchases. It is funded by advertising: a small banner and one optional rewarded video per run — the Recall — which you may choose to watch to bring back some of the people lost in the current Tide. The rewarded ad is never required to play, is equally available to every player, and grants no advantage that time alone could not. Ads are served by Google AdMob as described in our Privacy Policy.

4. Online features

Ashen Gate is a single-player game. Its leaderboards and achievements are optional and provided through Google Play Games Services, active only if you choose to sign in. You agree not to cheat, tamper with saved data, or otherwise submit dishonest scores; we may remove entries that appear manipulated, and Google may act under its own terms. These online features may change or be withdrawn if the underlying service changes.

5. Updates & availability

We maintain our work for the long term, and we intend Ashen Gate to be no exception. Still, we may update, change or — in exceptional cases — discontinue features, including the optional online services above. Where we can, we will give reasonable notice before switching anything off.

6. Intellectual property

Ashen Gate, including its code, art, audio, writing and the Natura Digitalis name and emblem, is our own creation and remains our property. These terms transfer no ownership to you.

7. Disclaimer & liability

Ashen Gate is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties and limit our liability to the amount you paid for the game — which, being free, is nothing. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, and your mandatory consumer rights are unaffected.

8. Termination

You may stop playing and uninstall Ashen Gate at any time. We may terminate this licence if you materially breach these terms. Because the game keeps no account and stores progress on your device, uninstalling removes your local data.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Lithuania, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer-protection rights of your country of residence.
